On Day 2 of your adventure in La Macarena, prepare for an exhilarating exploration of the legendary Caño Cristales. After fueling up with a delicious breakfast, you'll set out on a thrilling journey that will take you deep into the heart of Colombia's Amazon rainforest. Your day begins with a scenic boat ride along the Guayabero River, followed by a thrilling ride in a rugged 4X4 vehicle to the entrance of Caño Cristales. From there, your unforgettable trekking adventure begins, as you traverse the breathtaking landscapes and natural wonders that await. Throughout the day, you'll have the opportunity to visit some of Caño Cristales' most iconic attractions, including Los Hoyos, Los Pianos, the Piscina del Turista, Los Cuarzos, and the Paso de la Danta, among others. Immerse yourself in the crystal-clear waters of natural pools, capture stunning photographs of cascading waterfalls, and marvel at the unique natural environments that surround you. As the sun rises, fuel up with breakfast before meeting your guide for an unforgettable adventure. Head to Inderena port, where a boat awaits for a 30-minute ride along the Guayabero River to the Losada River mouth. Keep watch for pink dolphins and diverse wildlife amid the stunning Macarena mountain range. Return to La Macarena before noon, bidding farewell to the vibrant landscapes. Depart for Bogotá, leaving behind the enchanting wonders of the region.
After an early morning breakfast, your guide will be waiting for you to embark on an unforgettable adventure. Together, you'll journey towards the Inderena port, where a boat awaits to transport you on a 30-minute ride along the Guayabero River to the mouth of the Losada River. During this scenic boat ride, lasting approximately half an hour, keep your eyes peeled for the majestic pink dolphins, also known as freshwater dolphins, that inhabit these waters. As you glide along the river, you'll be surrounded by the rich biodiversity of the Macarena mountain range, with opportunities to spot various bird species, turtles, crocodiles, and other fascinating wildlife. Before noon, you'll return to La Macarena, where your journey concludes. Here, you'll bid farewell to the breathtaking landscapes and vibrant wildlife of the region as you catch your flight back to the bustling city of Bogotá.

In case the airline notifies us about a change of itinerary, we will act on our traveler's behalf to minimize the impact of this change on their trip. However, in some situations the alternatives offered by airlines might mean changes on the trip's agenda. In such cases, we will work together to make necessary rearrangements to minimize the impact of flight alterations on the trip's agenda and minimize/avoid extra costs.
