Now, this museum has the world’s largest pre-Hispanic gold collection with 55,000 pieces and 6,000 pieces that are on display in their adapted building.

The fruit tour is a private experience that will engage you with the vast diversity of food, geography and cultural practices of Colombia in just one place: the Paloquemao Plaza, the only market in the world where you can find up to 67 different fruits!
An expert guide, who has worked with the market community since 2015, will connect you with farmers and merchants so that you can learn about their family businesses and community projects such as "Back to the plaza" and "Hello my friend." These initiatives were created to promote employment and the learning of a second language learning among the market’s community members.
We recommend you do not have breakfast - or at least a small one - because you will begin the experience by trying different types of bread and pastries prepared by local cooks and then you’ll walk through the stalls of flowers, plants, and handicrafts and will learn about the medicinal, gastronomic and esoteric uses of herbs and condiments. After stopping at each area of the produce section, you’ll sit down to try a banquet of 20 exotic fruits from different regions of the country. While tasting these delicious fruits, you’ll hear about Colombia’s history, present and future from the perspective of the merchants.
After you've had your fill, you’ll learn about the importance of cleaning, drying and storing the fruit seeds, as well as get some tips for eating healthier, organic and diverse. The tour starts at the highest part of the Comuna, Nuevos Conquistadores neighborhood. The path continues to the symbolic Parque San Antonio, a space reflecting the city’s healing, and the iconic Plaza Botero. The price quoted on this offer is valid for 10 calendar days after the delivery of the proposal. Some third-party costs and availability may vary after that period of time (specially air and hotels).
To confirm the trip, you must pay a 50% of the total price as a deposit, and 50% balance 30 days before the departure. If your departure is in less than 30 days, you must confirm your trip with 100% upfront payment.
- If the trip is canceled for reasons other than "force majeure", the following cancellation penalties* will apply:
- From 0 to 10 days before the start date of the trip, 100% cancellation penalty.
- From 11 to 21 days before the start date of the trip, 70% cancellation penalty.
- 22 -31 days before the start date of the trip, 50% cancellation penalty.
- +32 days before the start date of the trip, 15% cancellation penalty.
- *Cancellation Penalty: The percentage of the total cost of the trip that Impulse is entitled to charge in case of a cancellation. The remaining percentage will be refundable.
- If the trip is canceled due to force majeure (understood as: strict blockade in Colombia, natural disasters or border closures) 50% of the total cost of the trip will be reimbursed and the remaining 50% will be offered as a credit that can be used on any Impulse trip over the next 12 months, and can be transferred to someone else.
