Colombian Beer and Tejo Tour

Start Time: 17:30

Duration: 5 hrs.

Pick up place: Ghl Bioxury Hotel

Guide: Raul Posse

Experience Bogotá’s edgy nightlife as you sip craft beers, feel the energy of Calle 45, and get your adrenaline pumping with the explosive thrill of tejo—Colombia’s loud, fun, and totally unforgettable national sport.

Bogotá’s nightlife scene is as dynamic and diverse as the city itself — a cultural melting pot where tradition and modern creativity meet. Once known mainly for its historical landmarks and business districts, the Colombian capital has steadily transformed into a playground for foodies, artists, and beer lovers alike. This experience invites you to explore one of its most exciting local corners: a night of craft beer, authentic street vibes, and the explosive thrill of tejo — Colombia’s national sport.

You start your evening in the city’s emerging beer district: Calle 45. Known for its laid-back charm and energetic spirit, this area is home to some of Bogotá’s most beloved independent breweries. You’ll visit two carefully chosen taprooms, each with its own personality and lineup of unique Colombian craft beers. As you sip and chat in these creative spaces — think microbreweries tucked into cultural houses or edgy storefronts buzzing with live music — you’ll feel the pulse of a city that’s constantly reinventing itself. The ambiance is friendly, the beer is cold, and the conversations flow easily.
As a special complement for the Taste of Change Tour the first beer stop will be at: "Casa de la Paz," a vibrant space for dialogue where you can sample craft beer produced by former FARC combatants, learning about their reintegration into society and the entrepreneurial initiatives emerging from the peace process.

As the sun goes down, you trade hops for heritage at Tejo La Embajada. This legendary venue brings locals and travelers together over a game that’s as entertaining as it is explosive — literally. Tejo is a traditional Colombian game where metal discs are tossed toward targets that pop with a bang when hit. It’s rowdy, it’s fun, and it's surprisingly addictive. But it’s not just about the game — here, you’ll also enjoy a taste of the region’s culinary roots with hearty local dishes paired with more craft beer. It’s the perfect way to get a feel for Colombian flavor — both in food and culture.

By the end of the night, you'll understand why Bogotá is quickly becoming one of South America’s most exciting cities to explore after dark. This is a journey through taste, tradition, and community — a celebration of what happens when locals share what they love with the world.
